Volunteer FAQ

Common questions from new and returning volunteers.

Only as much as you are comfortable giving! You can join one flower-making session, help when your schedule allows, or become involved more regularly. There are no minimum hour commitments. Everything helps! :)

No, we provide the materials needed for our flower-making sessions, including pipe cleaners, ribbon, tags, and packaging supplies. If you ever have extra craft supplies you would like to contribute, we are always grateful, but there is no obligation to bring anything.

No experience is needed, promise! At each session, a team lead will walk volunteers through the flower-making process step by step. Most of our wonderful volunteers feel like experts by the time they finish making their very first flower.

We would absolutely love to welcome you! You can get started by joining an upcoming flower-making session or reaching out through our contact page. Sign up using our form in the “Get Involved” section and check out our events calendar! We will share the details with you and make sure you feel supported when you start.

We would be absolutely delighted to help you with that! We are more than happy to sign any community service, co-op, or school volunteer forms you have. Just bring your paperwork along to any of our sessions, or send us an email afterward, and we'll gladly verify your hours.

Our handmade flowers are shared with local hospitals, hospices, long-term care homes, clinics, and community spaces where a small reminder of care can make a meaningful difference. We also create special deliveries for holidays and community events when possible.

Right now, we focus on group deliveries to healthcare and community spaces so we can reach as many people as possible, but we are dreaming up beautiful new ways to offer sponsored bouquets and individual requests in the near future. In the meantime, if there is a facility, shelter, care home, or community program close to your heart, please reach out and we can look into a possible delivery.

Yes, absolutely! Volunteers can help from home by making flowers themselves, supporting social media, or helping with outreach. Reach out to us and we can share the guides, details, and next steps.
